It's that time of year again where we are going to spruce up ISG and change things around here! Look for a new layout and a new forums layout! Also there will be some other small changes here and there that you will see over the year! Look forward to another awesome year!

ISG is currently undergoing maintenance in the MAI system. Points and credits may fluctuate several times before the maintenance is over, so please don't be alarmed. We're attempting to fix the monthly activity points and adjust the system to take into account those members in Tier A.

The Breeder's Test has been revamped in order to make it a little easier to pass. The questions remain the same, as does the percentage needed to pass, but the test will now tell you which questions were answered incorrectly.

In addition, the fee to take the Breeder's Test has been lowered to $1,000 per try.

If you haven't been around in a while, you should trot over to the Community Center and let us know you're interested in continuing to play. Members who fail to do so will have their accounts deleted by the end of this week.

Exciting news! Two new features are in the process of being added to the ECUID: full name descriptions for all disciplines and third-generation pedigrees for both horses and dogs!

Currently, disciplines for horses and dogs have been changed to reflect the full words instead of the initials previously used. Unfortunately, there is no way for us to change the current format of uses for your horses and dogs, but when you go to update them and select the disciplines they compete in, full names will show up. The search function has also been altered to reflect full names, and so until horses and dogs have been updated, the search function for disciplines will only return partial results.

Third generation pedigrees are a work in progress, but are expected to be completely done in the next two weeks.

Several new features have been added to the site's functionality in the past few days, including:

• 'Original Owner' archived upon registration.
• Update time and updater archived in ECUID for transfers and updates.
• Players can now also choose how their search results are displayed by clicking on the desired column heading. For example, you can now view animals by age by clicking the 'Age' heading in the search results.

Thanks so much for all your patience during the beta testing of the new content management system. I really appreciate all the input we've received about the process. We hope to be able to re-open within the next two weeks. Be on the look out for the upcoming March/April Adopt-a-Thon!

ISG is looking for donations for our 2007 Anniversary Auction. Got stock you're not using? Looking to weed out your crowded facility? Give back to the community by donating horses and dogs to Impulsion's game run action. Just send us the stats and we'll take care of promoting and transferring your stock. For each animal donated, current members will receive 50 MAI points!

If you haven't noticed already, we are holding the ISG Show series this month! Please enter if you want to, because the prizes will be extremely high. We know some of you have money "problems", so this may be the perfect opportunity to score some cash, without a high entry fee. Additionally, different associations will give out points (if they do give them out in general); like the AHA, which may be significantly higher than normally. So in short, enter!

I have returned from my months long adoptions hiatus, life has stopped getting the better of me. Therefore, all adoption requests can once more be sent via the form. I won't be processing them until the 29th of July, but they will be processed. PMs no longer have to be sent to Mareike; I'll make sure if she receives them after the 29th that she just deletes them.
