Welcome to Golden Bay Acres, where legends are created. We have been an integral part of the horse simulation world for many years, starting out in 1996 with a small band of Arabians. From there our knowledge, experience, and skill grew. We now house over 100 purebred Arabian horses of many different colourful genetic backgrounds. We have since discovered that our fondness primarily lies within the Polish breeding type of the Arabian horse. That's not to say that we don't appreciate and respect all of the different breeding types; but the Polish horses happen to be our soft spot. With that being said, you may have heard of our herd sire, and star G Achilles. He's a terrific competitor and has been siring champion after champion every year.

I get asked this question a lot. Where did the name come from? Golden Bay Acres, the name in itself has a lot of heritage behind it. I'm a French Canadian originally from Prince George, BC; but my heritage on my father's side is Finnish. My father's family anglicized their last name when they emigrated from Finland to Canada. They changed it from Kuhltahlatie (I'm not entirely sure of the spelling, as there isn't much record of it at all) to "Bay." The reason they changed it to Bay was because their original last name meant "Golden Bay." So, there you have it, that's how GBA got it's name.
